From its beginning over 34 years ago, in 1972, Prestige Kitchens has grown to become the largest cabinet manufacturer and retailer on Prince Edward Island. Founder, Wayne Parnham, began operations in Summerside with a focus on countertop manufacturing. Soon thereafter, Prestige Kitchens was a fast growing company, moving to a retail storefront in the Summerside Mall.

Later in 1985 new construction broke ground on what is now the home of Prestige Kitchens at Reads Corner in Summerside.  A new building to showcase the largest display, still to today, ever seen on Prince Edward Island and room for a manufacturing facility. Expansion came again in 1993 when a second store and showroom was introduced in Charlottetown.  Now with two stores we have the largest selection of countertops, handles, accessories, and many up-to-date showroom kitchen displays. 

Every year we add over 500 new clients to our ever increasing sales. Still today we believe the true convenience of any kitchen design is good preparation. Since 1988 we produce stunning computer-aided designs to help people feel comfortable with the selections they may have made. We now distribute our products throughout North America, and also export to Japan.
