Background

Established in 1972, Prestige Kitchens is the largest manufacturer of custom kitchens on the Island and its two stores in Summerside and Charlottetown provide on of the largest showrooms and selection of in-stock countertops, handles, kitchen accessories and kitchen displays in the Atlantic provinces.

Prestige Kitchens Ltd. Has now expanded its presence in Summerside with the launch of two new businesses: Prestige Floral Studio and Prestige Home Décor. Prestige employs 27 people across its retail and manufacturing divisions.

Prestige kitchens Ltd. Is a family affair led by brothers Jerry and James Parnham. Jerry’s wife Joanne runs the Summerside store and is lead on the new Prestige Home Décor business. Joanne’s brother Michael Jackson has returned to Summerside to open Prestige Floral Studio and her sister Shelley in the Charlottetown store, is one of the only National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) certified designers on the island.
